About LilliQuest
As everyone was stuck inside most of the day during 2020, it became harder and harder to coax my toddler outside. With parks shut down and playgrounds off-limits, we spent much of our outside time going on walks in our neighborhood.
By October, as things started to get colder, I started to look for other ideas to keep our walks more interesting. In the spirit of Halloween, I created a scavenger hunt using drawings and inspiration from the decorations in my neighborhood. The first quest had been born.
Drawing a fresh board every time we wanted to do a scavenger hunt was going to be limiting, so I started using my design and development skills to build a mobile game that could always be with us. It would be played and played again over the next few months. Each time, I learned something new and adjusted the game.
When my son started pointing out objects without prompting and wanting to let Princess Lilli know about them, I knew I had created something worth sharing with other parents. My hope is that you and your children will enjoy the game as much as mine have.
